CDMA Field Test Application is a free tool developed by C. Knuetter that is specifically designed for CDMA2000 type phones. The application offers a comprehensive range of features that are useful for CDMA users. LTE RSRP in StatusBar and LTE RSRP/RSRQ/RSSNR/CQI are two beta features that allow users to view signal strength in real-time. The application also tracks defined base stations in the status bar and offers logging in CSV and KML formats. Users can send CSV and KML files via email and enable/disable the base station tracker as per their needs. The application also shows CDMA SID/NID and maps CDMA base station locations for easy access.
It is important to note that CDMA Field Test Application works only with CDMA2000 type phones and not with GSM/UMTS/LTE. Additionally, map base station only works if the tower tells you Lat/Long.
